Travis and Deacon Blue will headline at next year’s music festival in Chew Valley
Valley Fest will return to the south-west between 30th July–1st August 2021 for its seventh year with an exciting lineup of musical acts including Travis, Goldfrapp, Toploader and more.
Post-Britpop alternative rock four-piece Travis whose songs have endured the decades, will headline Friday night, with fellow Scottish band Deacon Blue taking to the main stage on Sunday evening. With fourteen hit singles, more than seven million album sales and two number one albums, they’ve enjoyed success from debut album ‘Raintown’ right through to 2020’s ‘City of Love’.
Blues singer Elles Bailey and soul artist Katey Brooks will provide some laid-back sets, perfect for Valley Fest’s lakeside setting.
More alternative acts include post-punk Nuala Honan, rocktronic outfit The Egg and Worm Disco Club, the Bristol-based djs with party-ready grooves and jazz rhythms.
“This line up fizzes with fresh acts and firm favourites. There are a number of artists who we have been wanting to book since we began and this year we’ve achieved it. 2021 is going to be huge!”, John Blakeley, music programmer has said.
