Start good and finish greater by signing up to a challenge this year at the Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon
Join over 10,000 runners, whatever your pace or motivation, and take on a scenic course on Sunday 23 September through Bristol’s awe-inspiring surroundings.
The 13.1-mile course makes the most of the city’s picturesque backdrop, starting on Anchor Road and running parallel to the historic Bristol Harbour before continuing along Avon Gorge and taking in the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Runners continue up the Portway on an out-and-back section towards Shirehampton before turning around and heading back towards the city.
You’ll then return to the city centre and experience that finish-line feeling back on Anchor Road.
If you’re keen to tackle a half marathon challenge this year, look no further than one of the most scenic events in the country.
If you’ve completed a 10k recently, why not rise to a new challenge and conquer the half marathon distance with the help of a few smart months of training?
The longer summer days open up lots of new training routes. You can also try running at different times of the day thanks to the lighter nights.
