Ready to rock

Lets Rock Bristol's retro extravaganza kicks off on Saturday 3 June at Ashton Court Estate

Hosted by TV legends Pat Sharp and Dave Benson Phillips, the festival is back in Bristol for another year and offers music fans a truly nostalgic experience of years gone by!

Set to take to the stage during the festival are iconic acts such as Gloria Gaynor, Village People, Toploader and Atomic Kitten, plus a host of other big names that you won’t want to miss!

With plenty of delicious food options available across the weekend, including barbeque, Mexican, Indian and Chinese, it’s fair to say that your taste buds are going to be spoilt for choice too. Alternatively, revellers may also bring picnics with them if they wish (however, alcohol and soft drinks/water in bottles of more than 500ml are not allowed, but can be purchased at one of the festival’s bars).

If you fancy getting into the true festival spirit, weekend camping tickets are also available, which give you access to the special launch night festivities on Friday 2 June where Midge Urge, Modern Romance and others will perform. The campsite is well serviced with showers and toilets and is located just a small walk from the main festival arena — there is also the option to pay for glamping with WOW Tents and Camplitude for those that fancy a bit more of a luxurious experience!

In terms of accessing the festival site for those with day tickets, First West of England are operating a special shuttle bus from Bristol Temple Meads to Let’s Rock Bristol via the city centre (buses depart every 15 minutes and cost £5 for a return ticket/£3 for a single), and one child (aged 15 and under) can travel free of charge with each fare-paying adult. There will also be plenty of free parking available on site at the festival too.

Best of all, the event is completely family friendly and suitable for all ages—it’s fair to say that it’s going to be a great weekend, so make sure you don’t miss out!

When: Weekend tickets with camping and day tickets both available, 2 – 4 June
