Visit Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park for a month of fun

Join Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park throughout May for the return of their unBEE-lieveably good Nature and Wildlife Month.

Explore their banks of the River Avon and discover the wildlife that lives alongside it. Get back to nature and enjoy activities such as pond dipping, leaf and bark rubbings. The Avon Valley team will lead you on a live bug hunt round our nature garden and teach you how to identify creepy crawlies.

Take things at your own pace with their self-led trails around the park and join them on a poo hunt! Kids love poo and so will you too with a game of Avon Valley Guess Poo! When you’re finished with that there are nature based crafts and quizzes around the park.

They will have a photography competition running all month for all budding camera enthusiasts. With four age categories, the whole family have an opportunity to compete!

Learn about the best of British wildlife that they have in the park. They will have regular keeper talks about the red foxes, barn owls and indigenous deer they have on site.

There will be themed fun and education all month with extra activities at weekends and during half term.

They are starting the first Bank Holiday of the month with two very special nature loving guests; Captain Barnacles and Kwazii from the Octonauts! Come and meet them and learn about why we need to keep plastics out of our waterways with a special submarine trip!
