The newest restaurant to grace Whiteladies Road will be opening it's doors Tuesday 11 July
HUBBOX is set to launch on Bristol’s Whiteladies Road on Tuesday 11th July 2017, bringing its popular concept of Burgers, Dogs & Beers to the region’s food capital.
The HUBBOX team has spent months carefully refurbishing 113 Whiteladies Road (previously Las Iguanas) in preparation to open its sixth site. HUBBOX Bristol will draw on the business’ heritage in Cornwall and Devon, combining the beach vibes of Cornwall’s St Ives and Pentewan Sands with the city sass of Truro, Exeter and Plymouth.
HUBBOX MD Richard Boon says;
“I love being home in Bristol, I’ve been exiled in Cornwall for 20 years! I grew up here and always wanted to own a restaurant in the city. But it had to be exactly the right location, with a great interior fit out and the infrastructure to allow us to bring our favourite suppliers’ ingredients to Bristol. We make terrific burgers that we’re really proud of, but HUBBOX is about so much more than great burgers. Our gourmet hot dogs, in house smoked pulled pork and beef brisket are incredibly popular in our Devon & Cornwall restaurants and our mackerel burgers and in fact all our fish options are superb. We can’t wait for Bristol’s food community to get stuck in.”
HUBBOX has established relationships with all its key produce suppliers. Phillip Warren butchers, Baker Tom bread, Colwith Farm Potatoes, Matthew Stephens Fish and fish from local boats, The Cornish Cheese Company, Origin Coffee Roasters, Cornish Sea Salt, Native Breeds Hot Dogs and West Country Fruit; all of which will be supplying the Bristol restaurant. Richard says;
“We’ve spent years obsessing about the perfect potatoes to make our fries, all of which are hand pulled. We’ve worked with Phillip Warren to source the right mix of beef cuts for our burgers and finding a great group of west country brands that share our ethos. I’m delighted to be bringing all these friends of HUBBOX to Bristol with us. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
