Support Changes Bristol whilst undertaking an epic challenge!
If you’re looking for a new way to get fit, whilst helping to support one of Bristol’s most vital charities, then there’s still time to sign up for the Bristol Half Marathon!
Taking place on the 23rd September, there are still a few places available to run on behalf of Changes Bristol, a mental wellbeing charity that provides free weekly peer support groups and services to those in mental distress.
The Bristol Half Marathon has been taking place in the city since 1989 and over 10,000 runners take part every year – with a route spanning some of Bristol’s most scenic spots, the atmosphere is second to none!
The registration fee is £30, and the minimum sponsorship target is £200. In return for raising funds for Changes Bristol, the team will provide you with a personalised running vest or t-shirt, any fundraising materials you may require (such as tins, buckets and sponsorship forms) and fundraising advice and help setting up your own online fundraising page. As well as this, they will also offer training advice and training groups and a huge and cheer from the staff when you cross the finish line!
So if you want to help improve Bristol’s mental wellbeing as well as taking on an epic challenge, contact Kat at firstname.lastname@example.org, call 0117 941 1123, or visit www.changesbristol.org.uk/Get-Involved/Fundraise/Bristol-Half-Marathon
