Head to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm this October for a month full of smashing activities

Autumn is here and that can mean only one thing – Halloween is just around the corner!

To help you get in the spooky spirit this October, Noah’s Ark Zoo farm in Wraxall are holding its first-ever Pumpkin Fest from Saturday October 5 to Saturday November 2. If you are looking for something to do with the little ones this month, then this is the place to visit!

At the Pumpkin Patch there will be all sorts going on, including Pumpkin Bowling  (where you can find out how many pins can you knock down with a real pumpkin). There is also the chance to take part in the Pumpkin Fest Mystery Trail to see if you can find the hidden pumpkins on your way around the zoo, and discover who hid them too!

From Saturday October 19, you will be able to grab a wheelbarrow, wander through the patch and pick as many pumpkins as you like, before showing off your artistic skills and carving them too!

From Monday October 28 to Friday November 1 you’ll have the chance to come and meet some real-life creepy critters!
This is your chance to get up close to a range of bugs including snails, cockroaches and stick insects at 11am in the Zoo Education Room – how brave are you feeling?!

Plus throughout half-term the zoo’s animals will also be getting involved in the Halloween fun, as elephants, skunks, capybaras and giant tortoises love to eat pumpkins too! Keep your eyes peeled as you explore the zoo each day to see which animals are being given some tasty Halloween treats.

If you fancy relaxing after a day of fun, there will also be the opportunity to grab a seasonal hot drink in the Autumnal Pumpkin Patch corner, or you can also head to the Food Barn for some tasty,
spooktacular treats!

Entry to Noah’s Ark Zoo farm costs £18 for adults and £12.50 for children (aged two–16) until October 25, and £19.75 for adults and £15.75 for children (aged two–16) from October 26–November 2.
