If you love retro video games and beer, this is the festival for you
Taking place on Bristol’s harbourside from Friday November 29–Sunday December 1, this is set to be the ultimate craft beer and retro video game festival, in probably the UK’s biggest retro arcade.
Brought to you by craft beer specialists indiebeer and The History of Video Games – The Lost Arcade, this one-off event promises the best in retro gaming alongside beers from the titans of the UK craft beer scene.
During this one-off event you can play 100 of the best retro video games from the past 40 years, from Pac-Man and Space Invaders through to Street Fighter 2, Time Crisis and beyond, with lots of rare American-only machines to boot! Plus you’ll also enjoy a selection of beers from the UK’s finest independent breweries.
Tickets are limited to 80 people per session to ensure maximum comfort and refreshment while you work your way up the gaming leader-board, and everyone will get a chance to play.
Sessions are available from 12pm–3pm, 3.30pm–6.30pm and 7pm–10pm (open till 7pm on Sundays). Each session costs £12 which covers entry and all the video games, with all craft beer individually priced. Games are free once inside, no coins required. Beers and snacks are also available to purchase at the bar area, and please be aware that this is an over-21s event.
Indie Beercade will be located on Millennium Promenade, across from Pizza Express (all ticket holders will get 30% off food at Pizza Express too – just show the server your ticket when you are seated).
