Get down to the Park with the kids next week for some fun-filled adventures!
A fascinating experience the kids will never forget. Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park has 19 ewes ready to lamb twins and triplets, so head down this half-term and catch a talk from a shepherd, help give the lambs their names and, of course, give them lots of cuddles.
Kids World Fun Fair
Coming to the park this half-term is a super fun theme park – pay once and ride as much as you like! Get cool views of the park from the sky on the ferris wheel, make your siblings laugh at the weird shapes in the funny mirrors and have a ride in the tea cups. Or why not be brave and have a go on the bungee trampolines or battle it out on the dodgems?
Join the animal rangers at the park as they care for the ewes and lambs during lambing – get a private out-of-hours tour of the barn where the pregnant ewes and lambs are based, help prepare food for the ewes and milk for the orphan lambs, and ask the shepherds all the questions you have. £45 per person – children aged 8–16 may have an accompanying adult with them. Breakfast rolls and hot drinks are provided after the session, which runs from 7.30 to 9am. Dates available for shepherd experiences are February 15, 16, 22 and 23.
Super Pirates Holiday Club
From Monday to Thursday this half-term the kids can hang out with an awesome crew at the park. Start the day inside the huge indoor play barn on the slides or playing hide-and-seek, then head out to the animals, climbing walls and outdoor play area for the afternoon. £33 per child – book places online.
