Going out | Free From Festival ‘19 at The Passenger Shed

BPL441 20 November 2019

This is the first food festival that focuses on people living their life ‘free from’ gluten, dairy or refined sugar

If you’d like to sample healthy ‘free from’ products and find out more about a life without gluten, dairy, or refined sugar, this food festival is for you!

It will take place in Bristol in Brunel’s Old Station (also known as The Passenger Shed) on Saturday November 23 from 11.00am until 5.00pm – you can expect to sample products made in the UK and by local businesses in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Some of the delights on offer are set to include refined sugar-free chocolate tasting, gluten-free desserts and savoury snacks.

There will also be the chance to enjoy gluten-free beer, organic wine and refined sugar-free beverages from the venue’s bar.

Plus you can also join in plenty of talks and demonstrations by talented nutritionists and industry professionals, where you’ll be able to learn some great tips on how to cook healthy, tasty food without using gluten, refined sugar or dairy. Live music will also be played during the day by up and coming artist ILONA.

With Christmas just around the corner, this event also provides a great opportunity to purchase some delicious gifts for loved ones that are gluten, dairy or sugar intolerant.

There are two entry slots at 11.00am and 1.30pm, and tickets cost £10 and include a complimentary soft or alcoholic welcome drink at the door. Children aged 12 and under go free, and wheelchair users and people with disabilities can enter with their carer under one ticket entry.

The organisers recommend that tickets are booked in advance to avoid disappointment, as there will be a limited number of tickets available on the door if capacity allows it. Please also make sure you bring enough cash with you.
