Egg-citing Easter Trail at Wapping Wharf

This free Easter egg trail is guaranteed to provide fun for all the family, writes Keri Beckingham

Are you looking for something egg-stra special to do as a family this Easter holiday? Then head down to Wapping Wharf, Bristol’s harbourside quarter, and take part in a free Easter Trail which will provide the perfect way to entertain both little and big kids alike!

Families will be able to collect activity sheets from The Bristol Cheesemonger (or Better Food on Mondays), and hunt for brightly decorated cut-out eggs in the windows of Wapping Wharf’s independent businesses, both along Gaol Ferry Steps and within Cargo.

There’s going to be plenty to keep grown-ups entertained at Wapping Wharf during the Easter holidays too. When you’ve completed the trail (and collected a little reward for your family’s hard work!) or if you need a pit stop halfway through, why not treat yourself to lunch out at one of the tasty eateries, browse the independent shops on offer, or just enjoy the view of the harbourside?

The Trail is being organised by Rosie Morgan, owner of the Bristol Cheesemonger. She said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming families to Wapping Wharf this Easter and seeing who will walk away with an Easter-themed prize when they complete the trail!”

An exciting new addition to Bristol’s thriving food, drink and shopping scene, Wapping Wharf is home to some of the city’s best independent restaurants, shops and cafes. Based on land that was previously derelict, this phased project will complete the regeneration of Bristol’s iconic Floating Harbour.

The Easter Trail is guaranteed to be an egg-cellent day out for all the family, and it takes place from Monday 8–Wednesday 24 April from 11am to 6pm each day, excluding Easter Sunday. To find out more, visit:
