Clifton High School announces details of upcoming open days
Clifton High School believes in placing an equal emphasis on an individual’s personal, emotional and social development, alongside their academic achievements, to provide a well-rounded education.
Clifton High will be welcoming new families on site and online for a Whole School Open Morning on Saturday 8 May. The medium-sized, co-educational school for 3-18-year-olds has been recognised for its forward-thinking philosophy, with excellent and improving facilities in the heart of Bristol.
Throughout the school, numerous opportunities are provided for pupils to develop and instil personal qualities such as tolerance, respect, a social conscience and a strong work ethic. This is because Clifton High firmly believes that, whether you are a child in Year 1, a pupil in Year 9 or a student in Year 13, a meaningful education is the development of your child as a whole person.
Realising individual brilliance is more than just the school’s ethos; it is a reality at Clifton High: nurturing and celebrating pupils’ unique characters, attributes and skills, encouraging them to seize opportunities both academically and personally. One of the many reasons this is possible is due to the small class sizes – teachers have the time to get to know each child personally, using their expertise to support them both in and out of the classroom.
Clifton High produces happy, free-thinking young people with a strong belief in their abilities, the confidence to pursue their ambitions and the resilience to succeed, whatever life presents.
Clifton High sends pupils out into the world who are ready to make a real and positive contribution to society.
