The local housebuilder has stepped in to create one of the best displays in Wiltshire
A Corsham primary school promises one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in Wiltshire this year, thanks to sponsorship of the event by a local housebuilder.
Cotswold Homes Ltd, which is building new homes on its Corsham Rise development in the town’s Potley Lane, has stepped in to help fund Neston Primary School’s annual event at Neston Recreation Ground on Saturday, November 4.
The fireworks display, the only one in Corsham, has been organised to raise funds for the school by its Parents & Friends Association. A popular annual event for 35 years, it traditionally attracts around 3,000 people.
Also proving to be popular locally are the new homes taking shape at Corsham Rise where phase one of the development already has sold out and houses in phase two are being released ahead of schedule in response to demand.
Open for viewing are two fully-furnished showhomes alongside the marketing suite at Corsham Rise.
One of the two four-bedroom homes – the Burford – is the fastest-selling on the firm’s most recent developments designed to meet the needs of young families. It is presented as a showhome for the first time at Corsham Rise.
Cotswold Homes’ no-hidden-extras policy has been a key factor in the scheme’s popularity with local buyers, reports the firm’s head of sales and marketing, Terri Hayes-Pugh.
She said: “This means that the purchase price includes the “big five” fully-integrated Smeg appliances – oven, hob with a feature hood, fridge/freezer, washer/drier and dishwasher – as well as a range of standard features not usually included in most new homes.”
“They include semi-pedestal basins to maximise floor space in bathrooms, chrome towel rails and contemporary vinyl flooring. Others are ample built-in wardrobes in some bedrooms and stylish fixtures and fittings as well as garden turf and fencing.”
- Prices of the new homes start at £325,000. For more details or an appointment to view the showhomes contact agents Andrews, 01179 461799 or Strakers, 01249 652717. Both can advise on the Government’s Help to Buy scheme. Buyers also benefit from Cotswold Homes’ new GameChanger package which, subject to terms and conditions, offers help with moving costs such as estate agency fees or by paying for carpets.
