Come down to Bristol Zoo this half term!

Animal academy will keep your little ones busy this coming half term

Children with a passion for wildlife, animal care and conservation can take part in a two-day, fun-packed academy at Bristol Zoo next month.

Taking place during October half term, the interactive course will allow children to see how the Zoo manages the health of its animals, how enclosures are designed and what it takes to be an animal keeper.

They will also learn about wildlife conservation, why animals are studied in the wild and how they can help to safeguard the future of endangered species.

The Academy is suitable for children 8-12 years old and takes place across two days on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th October.

Places on the popular course cost £100. To find out more, visit
To book a place on the course contact the Zoo’s education team on 0117 428 5441 or email
