Choosing a first school for your child? Head teacher David Edwards explains why Colston’s Lower School should be top of your list

Choosing that all-important first school for your child to attend is a huge decision to make, so I would like to take a moment to answer a question – why Colston’s Lower?

From our small class sizes to our exceptional facilities, and not forgetting the incredible 30 acres of grounds available to us over the road for Forest School and sports, we strive to provide not just an exceptional education, but a community in which your child can unlock their true potential.

In 2019, the ISI rated Colston’s as ‘Excellent’ in all areas, with the inspection team observing the breadth of our Lower School curriculum resulting in academic excellence from EYFS upwards. This is supported by an environment of enriched opportunity, with sports, music, creative and performing arts all held in equal esteem.
