Woky Ko to hold Woky Fest for the year of the Rooster!
Come and celebrate the new Chinese New Year at a mini festival with the Woky Ko team down at CARGO at Wapping Wharf from 11.30am on Saturday 28th January and help make way for good luck and good fortune in the year of the Rooster!
From its cosy shipping container diner, the team will be serving up specially made steamed dim sum dumplings from outside the container, and adding a warming congee (traditional rice porridge) to the menu for those who dine in, all as part of the day’s festivities.
The dim sum will be limited in number so make sure you get down early!
And Woky Fest will feature a particularly spectacular tradition – the University of Bristol Chinese Lion Dance troupe will be performing outside Woky Ko at 1.30pm and 4pm, spreading prosperity to the beat of drums and cymbals.
Woky Ko, which opened in October of last year, is a casual Asian diner serving up bao, noodle bowls and Xiao sharing plates. It can be found at Unit 7 at CARGO1 in Wapping Wharf. Dine in and takeaway options will be available throughout the day.
