Audley Redwood appoints general manager and head chef


Owners have started to move into the luxury retirement village with the first phase now complete

Audley Redwood, the luxury retirement village minutes from the historic Clifton Village, has appointed Kevin Green as its General Manager. Now that owners have moved into the village, Kevin will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Audley Redwood and will be the main point of contact for all owners.                                                                                    

Kevin joins Audley with 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He has previously held the position of Director of Operations at Hilton Liverpool and prior to that he was Director of Rooms at the Celtic Manor Resort where he worked during the NATO conference. Kevin has also spent a number of years working for Hilton Worldwide, including roles at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole and the Millennium Hilton New York.

Nigel Jones has been appointed Head Chef at the Symonds Restaurant which, once open in the New Year, will be located at the centre of the village within the Audley Club. The Audley Club will be home to luxury facilities including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, library, restaurant, bar/bistro and spa, accessible to both owners and the neighbouring communities. 

Nigel joins Audley with 37 years’ of experience, most recently at DeVere Tortworth Court where he was executive chef for 12 years. During his tenure at Tortworth the Orangery Restaurant gained two rosettes. Nigel also worked at Redwood Lodge Hotel and Country Club, now the site of the new Audley Village.

Having worked in hospitality for a number of years, I look forward to bringing my passion for customer service to our owners.”

Audley Redwood opened its doors in November and began to welcome owners into the magnificent properties. Once complete the village will comprise of 126 luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments and cottages for over 60s.
