North Somerset’s answer to Glastonbury is coming this August as an exciting community festival event is to be held in the grounds of one of the region’s premier hotels.
The first ever Cadburyfest will take place on Saturday 19 August at Doubletree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury with street food, live music and entertainment, al fresco bars, market stalls and fun sports activities.
As part of a series of celebrations for the venue’s 10th anniversary, Cadburyfest is a free event open to all ages and will run from 1pm until late with a firework finale.
Mimmo Pomo of Cadbury House, said: “We are so excited to be hosting Cadburyfest, it will be a great community fun day for families and friends to enjoy together right into the early hours.
“We’ve got some fantastic live entertainment lined up and there will be fun activities to take part in throughout the day. There’s also plenty of space for people to chill and enjoy some food, drinks and our stunning panoramic views across the North Somerset countryside.
“This summer marks the 10th anniversary of the hotel and so we wanted to do something really special to say thanks to our customers, staff and the local community who have been so wonderful over the years.
“We put a lot of emphasis on community here at Cadbury so this is the perfect way to celebrate this milestone together.”
DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House is a four-star boutique hotel just outside of Bristol. With two onsite Marco Pierre White restaurants, an award-winning health club and spa, free parking and views across the North Somerset countryside, it has become renowned as one of the best in the region.
