Exciting new chocolate bar to open on Bristol's Park Street this September...
Chocolate-lovers are in for a real treat as Australian couple are set to launch Mrs Potts’ Chocolate House in the heart of Bristol’s foodie scene, bringing their take on the best of relaxed dining from down under into the melting pot.
Michael and Jennifer Potts will be welcoming Bristolians to their house of chocolate fun on Park Street, to indulge in a wide variety of cocoa-based classic and contemporary cakes and desserts.
The slice of heaven that is Mrs Potts’ Chocolate House includes mouth-watering treats such as chocolate fondue, white chocolate Eton mess and classic cakes served in a friendly, informal dining atmosphere to residents and visitors alike.
The Potts have refurbished the premises which can seat 30 customers at any one time, and installed a central marble counter that boasts three pots of pure melting chocolate. Cocoa-lovers can then coat a dessert of their choice with milk, dark or white chocolate.
Commenting on the launch, Michael Potts says:
“Chocolate bars are extremely popular in Australia, and we haven’t seen anything like it in Bristol. This inspired Jennifer and I to open our own. Bristol has an impressive history in chocolate and a bustling coffee scene, so we are delighted to be working with a high calibre of local suppliers such as Guilberts Chocolatiers and Wogan Coffee."
“Mrs Potts’ Chocolate House will be a unique experience which will leave our customers with the happy, warm feeling we all get when enjoying chocolate. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone through our door.”
Open seven days a week, from 11.00 am, Mrs Potts’ Chocolate House will be serving classic café treats in an accessible, relaxed environment, allowing locals and visitors to drop in throughout the day.
