The luxury retirement village has opened a show apartment

Audley Redwood, the luxury retirement village minutes from historic Clifton Village, has marked a key milestone in its development by opening a show apartment; the first property available to view at the village before it welcomes its owners later this year.

Situated on the former site of the Redwood Hotel and Country Club, Audley Redwood sits in 15 acres of landscaped parkland. The village will give owners the chance to live just a short drive from the centre of Bristol, while offering an independent lifestyle in a beautiful and secure environment.

The show apartment will be the first property available to view at the village, giving visitors a preview of what the completed development will look like following ongoing renovations of the site. Once complete, Audley Redwood will provide a mix of 126 one, two and three bedroom apartments and cottages for the over 60s. The new village is also set to create up to 65 new jobs in the local community, from the sales team to restaurant staff and gardeners.

Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley Retirement, said: “It seems no time at all since work began at Redwood, and opening the show apartment marks a real milestone in our initial phase of development. The village has already received overwhelming levels of interest, highlighting the need for innovative and luxury retirement living options in the South West. We’re looking forward to showcasing our first property in the village and inviting the local community to attend our upcoming open days.”

The centrepiece of the village, Redwood Hall, will be home to the Audley Club, offering luxury facilities including a library, restaurant, bar and bistro, swimming pool and spa, all of which will be accessible to both owners and the neighbouring communities.

Over 50% of Phase 1 properties have already sold, highlighting the demand for high quality retirement living in the area. For further information or sales enquiries, please contact the sales team on 01275 217 797.
