The latest on NASS 2017

The action sport and music festival returns this year with an exciting line-up

The hype surrounding NASS 2017 continues to grow with this latest drop of acts to play the action sports and music festival this year.

Method Man & Redman will bring a taste of the East Coast to the South West, as the hip-hop duo are announced as the final headliners for NASS 2017. Method Man, a former member of Wu-Tang Clan & Redman, formerly of Def Squad, released their landmark debut album Blackout! in 1999, earning a huge cult following in music and film before following it up 10 years later with Blackout! 2.

GIGGS joins the line-up after dropping his latest album ‘Landlord’ in August last year, debuting at number two in the album charts, GIGGS is without question one of the most influential rappers to come out of the UK.

Bringing some lyrical lucidity to NASS, Loyle Carner also features on this latest drop. The London-born rapper released his highly acclaimed debut album ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ in January to rave reviews. Multi-Award London rap duo Krept and Konan will also grace the NASS stage and Radio 1’s own Charlie Sloth brings the fire to the showground with a DJ set of pure bangers.

This latest drop also features High Contrast, Kiko Bun, DJ Hype, Baseline Smith, Ivy Lab, Mollie Collins, IC3, Crisis, Youngman and Chunky. The man himself Toddla T brings the Toddla T Carnival featuring DRS, Ms Banks, Steflon Don, Coco, Roska, Jus Now, Cadenza and DJ Target.

This year NASS will take place on the 6th – 9th July, just a few miles from the unofficial alternative capital of street and skate culture, Bristol.

International athletes from the world of Skate and BMX will compete over the weekend for bragging rights and world titles. The event will feature a 15ft Vert Ramp, the tallest in Europe as well as a pro park, dirt jumps, street sports and public courses and ramps.

Street artists will paint across the festival, completing a unique weekend where the energy of action sports collides with night time revelry. Further acts will be announced soon. Stay tuned for more details.
